AMPHION ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. is an Oakland based Planning and Design firm that specializes in assembling and managing teams for multi-faceted projects. We focus on creative, high quality design with emphasis both on aesthetics and on the enhancement of the natural environment. Our projects are recognized for their innovative qualities, imaginativeness, and successful integration of public park areas into natural environments, and public urban improvements into the surrounding city fabric. Through the use of various community involvement processes each project design becomes unique to its context, responding to specified short and long term needs of both the public and jurisdictional agencies. We have successfully lead teams dealing with Master Plans through construction in the multi-million dollar range. We recently completed a master plan for 10,000 acres in the Santa Clara foothills, which included vegetation management, as a major component. We are nationally recognized for our ability to work with diverse public agencies and the public at large. We are a firm which is committed to achieving results and seeing our projects implemented. We make long term commitments to our clients in order to see projects through to completion.
While Amphion has in-house capabilities in most of the technical areas of this project, we recognize the advantage of involving experts to achieve the best results. We identified recognized individuals in the various technical fields necessary for the successful execution of this project. Amphion was the prime consultant and orchestrated of the team and process. The expertise of the various individuals was drawn upon as needed throughout the work process and at meetings. Amphion oversaw the preparation and production of the draft products for both in-house/ team and outside "client" review. Amphion also assembled the final products with the exception of the CEQA initial study, which was the responsibility of Ward & Associates under Amphion's direction.
